A little about me personally
Hey there, I'm Allie! I'm was born and raised in Phoenix and I love this beautiful state. I am a fan of rainy days (probably because we don't get too many in this sunshine state!), good books, coffee, Mexican food, Christmas, and spending time with family and friends (oh and of course, PHOTOGRAPHY!). I live in Tempe, but love to travel whenever I get the chance!
A little about my photography background
By day I work for a tech company, but my evenings and weekends are filled with photography!
My first encounter with photography was back in high school. I took a class where we learned the basics of photography and were taught how to develop our film in a dark room. I have such fond memories of that class & singing silly songs and cracking jokes while processing our film.
In 2015 I saved all my Christmas and birthday money and bought myself my first DSLR camera and entered the world of digital photography. I began taking photos of my family and a few friends. This soon grew as referrals came in. I want to pause a moment here and thank all those who supported me and helped me practice through all those years!
Though I still have a full time job, I took the leap and officially started my photography business in February of 2022. It's been fun watching Allie Renee Photography grow! Maybe one day I'll get to do it full time!
I love connecting with people and capturing memories and moments that you will cherish forever. I'm honored to work with so many wonderful people and tell a part of their stories through photography.
